I grew up on an island
Only 32 square miles
But between the island
Hopping, midnight boat rides,
Carnival, house parties, Jouvert,
Parking lot parties; clubbing
With my older cousins,
Having my name in songs,
Winning waistline contests,
Tramping from one end of
The island to the other.. And
All before I could legally drive
Wouldn’t trade it for anything 🥹
