As a Creative Developer & supporter since “I’ll Name This Podcast Later", then moving to Patreon, I’ve seen THAT platform evolve from rough interfaces and limited experiences into the ecosystem it is today. One of my trainees told me that her job gave the employees a white privilege test to get them to realize their privilege and acknowledge social norms/biases. She said it was an eye opener to these ppl, especially white men. One example is check yes if you get nervous when the police stop you. Another is check yes if you have ever felt like you wouldn't get an opportunity like a job or a home because your white. The men started to realize that their privilege exists and help them address the reality of bias. Thoughts?

I’m not saying it’s impossible. I’m saying it’s not something that I think Joe would do. It goes against most of what he’s been saying for years. Maybe eventually he will change his mind. But a more authentic migration of celebrities feel more like what Joe would want.

I totally understand why people are upset, but as a person who loves understanding corporate business, this is a great plan. BUT! It was TOO SOON to pivot. It should have been slow once it was more established. Granted, I don't think that many people will leave just yet or ever, but I also think fostering loyalty through slow changes would have been better.

The outside hype for this has already died. Not sure if it was the best idea to change yet, but we will see.
